PowerQuest v0.20 - Drift 'em up
New PowerQuest stable release!
Another year of PowerQuest updates! Shipping my major project The Drifter required plenty of fixes to the tool, tweaks, and quality of life improvements.
There's no huge features in v0.20, but check out the big list here- https://powerquest.powerhoof.com/version_history.html
The Drifter came out!
So yeah, in July last year my first commercial adventure game came out- be sure to check it out for a showcase of what's possible in PowerQuest :D
So what's next?
This year I'm hoping to (eventually) have time for more PowerQuest game jams, and continue working on my fantasy adventure series The Telwynium. I'm porting The Drifter to Switch/Switch2 as well, which involves updating to Unity 6. So for better or worse, the next major update to PowerQuest will include moving to that!

Maybe a controller interation one day?
Yeah I've never been sure about adding that as a standard template since games all implement it quite differently. Plus there's like 3 different input systems people choose from for controllers in unity too (including popular assets)... So it's felt limiting to just implement 1 way, the way I'd do it is different than others.
Quite a few people have done their own it on the discord now though if you're looking to get help implementing yourself.
Very nice
Awesome stuff Dave. I'm on Unity 6 now, and it seems solid for what I use it for, so I hope the transition is smooth for you too! It'll be interesting to possibly hear how much change it required with PowerQuest some time. :)
