While some of it's story can't compete with it's stylish visuals, and the gamepaly needs work, it is none the less interesting enough to be seen to the end- which won't disappoint.
Dang. Sorry about that! There was a known crash bug if you quit and then continued the game at certain places (usually on the boat). If you think that's the problem, and you're keen for more you could try just playing straight through from the start without quitting (mash esc to skip through dialog you've already seen).
It crashes when I returned to the island, between the lady zombie spot and when I try to get an item from the waterfall. I can't recall it very well, and now I can't open the game to see for sure.
No worries though, I will try to reinstall the game and see how it goes.
Just wow. So much better than a game like this has any right to be! My ONLY suggestion would be to add a button to show objects you can interact with as there were a few items I didn't notice. 10/10
I'm working on a longer thriller adventure game in the same style, but not specifically a sequel to this or Peridium. Working on longer stuff is hard though! It's taking me ages compared to the gamejam style ones, so don't hold your breath ;)

We're lucky enough to be able to self fund our own projects at the moment. At least until we decide to make a huge Triple A MMO of course ;)
The game crashes consistently when I reach the top of the damn to retreive the ammo. I'm playing the Linux build. Such a shame too because this game is wonderful! To be specific is crashes as soon as the words "I see what you're doing up there!" appear on screen.

This was the best thing that I've played on Itch, The pacing was perfect, the voice acting was perfect, the style was perfect. Although I struggled tofind a couple key items due to that style, the game never has any "cat hair moustache" solutions Everybody should try this game

Super amazing game! Gameplay, music, story, and voice acting were perfect! While I'm on the voice acting, the voice acting from everyone in this game was soooo freaking good, like holy crap it was so good! Only had a couple problems, it seems like a poor idea to only let you pull off one piece of meat to feed the dog, especially if you miss what you're really supposed to do with it, I mean, there's arms and legs scattered everywhere, should be able to just pick up another one. The other problem was after I reset the game because I threw the meat without putting the painkillers in it, it crashed when I got picked up by the boat. Still a super phenomenal game! Made a video, hope you enjoy!
Ah sorry about the crash! You can use the cleaver to get more meat, but it's not a very well signposted puzzle, and the visuals make it pretty unclear so a few people got stuck there. Thanks for playing!

Alluvium is a micro-masterpiece, being relatively short, but great in pretty much every way it can be. A pixelated art style and variety of bright colors mask an increasingly grim world as you point & click your way through a constant barrage of life threatening danger, all while the excellence that is Adrian Vaughan's voice guides the way through the story. I did click myself into a corner at one point, but once I corrected things and reached the ending, I was left definitely wanting more.
Great job on this, devs. You made a point&click adventure...exciting.
Hey Developers, I played the first like 7 minutes of the game and all I can say is I am blown away. Seriously good job! The narration, the characters, the vision or foreshadowing or whatever when you do something that is going to get you killed... Excellent job! (edit: Just finished the game, you've got real talent, I'd love to see it become a full game!)
CRAZY NON STOP, EXHILARATING,OVER THE TOP EXCITEMENT! Really that was very good, the voice acting is fantastic, the tone and theme all flowed very nice, and at any point it could flip into something new. Really enjoyed this, great work

This was an absolutely fantastic game with everything from art,story,characters to voice acting and puzzles were so damn good.Everything except story wise this game was better than peridium which in my opinion had way better ending and story as compared to this.But voice acting was, I think much much better than Peridium and plus had a new lady voice actor who did a fantastic job in voicing as a psycho!
This was awesome! Great story, great art, great voice acting, holy cow!! I actually am not a fan of point and click games, mostly because of nonsensical puzzles and going on for to long. I'm proud to say Alluvium suffers from non of that though!

great voice acting, really love the color pallet. This is just as good as Scriptwelder's games, if not better.

Hey Powerhoof! I made a cringe video on this game but it was very entertaining nonetheless! I love this style of games!

hello from France! pretty interesting work but it do crashes for me on ubuntu 18.04 when reloading the saved file .

Played through this on my channel! I haven't touched an adventure game in a long time, but I found this super engrossing. Great work!

While I'm on the voice acting, the voice acting from everyone in this game was soooo freaking good, like holy crap it was so good! Really great game! The art style is pretty cool and it felt solid to play. Great stuff.
